MINT ROYALE-POP IS...(2007)

Neil Claxton and Chris Baker are Mint Royale, a duo that has three studio albums ( Dancehall Places (2002), On The Ropes (2004), and See You In The Morning (2005)), a bunch of EPs, soundtracks films such as Vanilla Sky among others, songs of advertising, the more this that I present "Pop is" coming to be a compilation of the last 10 years of his career with the best tracks from this duo more unreleased songs. Mint Royale boasts an elegant electronic music that moves by the big beat, pop, hip hop, funk and much sample. I must say that Baker left the Group in 2004 shortly after recording On the Ropes.
On this album there are several curiosities in the first place you can find two versions of iconic songs if you can call it that, the first "Sing in the Rain" from the film dancing in the rain and I will leave the video which is quite funny, the other a bonus track with a version of a Wham song "Wham bar." Both two I seem a very interesting remix versions at the same time cheerful and danceable.
But there is also another version of Terrorvision group "Tequila" and a very successful Stone Roses "Elephant Stone". Apart from collaborations such as Pos Dela Soul in the song "show me" and Lauren Laverne in "Do not Falter."
In summary, this group is happy, and makes an electronic bearable for most people including those who are not doing much royo mail. I leave the video Sing in the Rain and Last fm links and official website.
